The Ionic Earthing Array (IEA) is ideal for a variety of grounding applications. Traditional grounding systems such as metal rods, metal strips, plate conductors, or deep-well grounding, etc., merely flow fault currents through these metallic conductors into the earth, but cannot influence how fast the fault current spreads in the dry soil. Therefore, in the harsh soil conditions, the grounding effect of metal conductors is not very satisfactory. After experiments prove that the direct reason for the high soil resistivity is due to the lack of auxiliary ion conduction of free ions. The IEA can solve the above grounding problem.
