Many links in the industry chain are still not mature

At the inaugural meeting of the Alliance Working Group on the 22nd, senior executives and experts from various companies suggested that they should start from the aspects of formulating standards, technology research and development, patent protection, and marketing promotion to catch up.

Vice President Li Zishi of Visionox said that the product standards for OLED displays are still lacking, and the products have entered various application fields. Although OLED lighting is in the stage of pilot-scale research and development, many internationally renowned companies have already stepped into the field of lighting. OLED products are divided into two parts: display and lighting. At present, the development of foreign display technologies is faster than domestic ones, and the industrialization process is also faster. In terms of lighting, the domestic level of development is closer to the international level.

Wang Jinshan, president of Nanjing No. 1 Organic Optoelectronics, said that in terms of lighting, we have the opportunity to compete with foreign companies. It is understood that the company is currently working hard to build the world's first batch of domestic OLED lighting product production lines next year. Plant construction and equipment ordering are in full swing. It is expected that the production line will be completed by the end of this year. The results of the laboratory are accelerating the transformation. Currently, blue, green and red light panels have been developed. The next step is to develop white light and high quality white light products. It is estimated that the end of this year will be successful.

In September of this year, Nanjing No. 1 Organic Optoelectronics will also build a “magnification line” from R&D to industrialization to make experimental products. “We are working on several aspects at the same time. It is expected that the second-generation line will be put into production early next year, initially reaching an annual output of 20,000 square meters.” The 2013 Fifth-Generation Line will be mass-produced and will provide YOG Olympics with OLED lighting products by 2015. The annual output will reach 1 million square meters, and the cost will also drop substantially.
