Today, the implementation of the "Regulations" has been nearly a month, but the reporter learned from the Fuzhou car modification market that some regulations are in vain. According to industry insiders, since the "Regulations" are not mandatory measures, this has certain limitations in the implementation process, and automotive safety expertise is also urgently needed.

High beam modification is still prevalent

In Article 10 of the Regulations, it is proposed that “the modification is mainly based on low beam and fog lights, and the high beam is not modified, and the user is actively guided.”

Brightness often exceeds the bottom line

Industry self-regulation is not mandatory

According to reports, the "Regulations" are only industry self-discipline rules, not mandatory, although there is a certain orientation for production enterprises and consumers, but it is difficult to form a system, and has little effect on market management. Similar situations have also appeared in other industry standards, such as "Technical Specifications for Automotive Glass Films" and "Opening Standards for Used Vehicle Circulation Enterprises". Therefore, how to put the contents of the "Regulations" into practice is the most critical.
