| Driver chip | The BP2818 is a high-precision LED constant current control chip that supports TRIAC dimming. It is used in non-isolated LED power systems for a full range of AC voltage inputs or DC voltage inputs from 12V to 600V. The BP2818 has a high-precision current sampling circuit and patented constant current control technology for high-precision LED constant current output and excellent linearity. The chip operates in the inductor current critical mode, and the system output current does not change with the inductance and the LED operating voltage, achieving excellent load regulation. The BP2818 uses a patented source drive technology. The chip's static operating current is only 200uA, eliminating the need for auxiliary winding power, simplifying design and reducing system cost. The BP2818 features multiple protection features including LED short-circuit protection, current sense resistor short-circuit protection, and chip over-temperature protection. The BP2818 is available in an SOP-8 package.
