Molex Corporation announces the newest member of the iPass+TM product line, the iPass+ High Speed ​​Channel (HSC) CXP pluggable copper and fiber optic interconnect system that supports 12-channel pluggable data transfers in a single component at data rates up to 120Gbps. The footprint-improving model is a high-density 10-channel connector that meets IEEE 802.3ba requirements for 10-channel 100Gb Ethernet interfaces and provides a path for future Tb networks.
The standard model is a high-density 12-channel connector capable of achieving 10 Gbps quad data rate (QDR). This one-piece, press-fit connector and shield assembly can be mounted on the motherboard in one step and is available in both single-port and stacked dual-port configurations.

The CXP fiber optic module assembly uses 24-core fiber optic cable and industry-standard MTP/MPO connectors to provide 12 transmit (TX) and 12 receive (RX) channels on 10 Gbps high bandwidth (OM3) fiber. This design meets the bandwidth requirements of InfiniBand technology for CXP fiber modules up to 300 meters.
