Panda Labs has detected a total of 88 million malwares in its history, which means that it has added a full 30% last year. On average, 73,000 new malwares were added each day in 2011, a total of 10,000 more than a year ago.
Of the newly emerging malware, the Trojan Horse is still the biggest head. In 2009, its proportion was 60%. It dropped to 56% in 2010 and rebounded to 73.31% in 2011. That is, every time there are four malwares, three of them are Trojans. Fortunately, Trojans do not automatically replicate, so they do not trigger large-scale infections like viruses and worms. Other types and proportions include: 14.24% of viruses, 8.13% of worms, and 1.43% of advertisements. All these figures have been reduced.
In the historical rankings, the proportion of Trojan horses is as high as 66.18%, a full two-thirds, another virus 11.02%, worm 9.01%, advertising 8.50%.
The average malware infection rate of PCs in the world is 38.49%, of which China ranks first in terms of 60.57%, followed by Thailand 56.16% and Taiwan 52.82% – the top three strongest countries have taken up two seats, and only three are such. More than 50% of the places.
Other serious infections include: Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Polan, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Slovenia. The United States ranks 11th with 39%, slightly higher than the global average.
Most of the cleanest countries are from Europe, of which Sweden is the safest with 24%, and the only one with less than 25%, followed by Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia, Belgium (about 33%).
