Landscape lighting has developed very rapidly from scratch, and it has played a very good role in promoting the beautification, tourism and economy of the city. The city has landscape lighting, from the black of the past to the brightening of the night, this is an improvement.

Each city has its own cultural symbols, such as Beijing's ancient architectural attractions such as the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace, Shanghai with the Bund and other ancient and modern landscapes. Other cities also have many representative landscapes, which bring people a wonderful experience. The evening lights make the landscape shine. From the perspective of tourism and aesthetics, the night landscape reflects the development of a city, and foreigners can also involuntarily praise it. These wonderful enjoyments are not coming out of thin air. It requires the city to carry out its own night lighting planning. Only the premise of scientific planning can have good projects, and only good projects can add color to the city.

The role of urban landscape lighting is positive, but how can we better achieve landscape lighting planning? At this stage, there are many problems with landscape lighting, that is, there is a huge price behind this beautiful night scene, light pollution and energy waste. Therefore, experts and scholars must consider the issue of energy conservation when lighting urban landscapes. This is not to say that you should not illuminate at night, but should consider how to design properly. In some areas, when we need night lighting, we have to do energy-saving work. Some places that are solemn and quiet should use little or no night lighting. In general, urban landscape lighting should be designed with reasonable lighting from the perspective of brightness, color application, dynamic application, technology and art.

On August 1, 2008, the state issued the latest energy-saving regulations and pointed out that it is necessary to appropriately limit night lighting. This is not to say that night lighting is not required. Recently, the Ministry of Construction has approved the preparation of the “Design Guidelines for Urban Night Lighting”. It is believed that in the near future there will be very standardized documents to limit the proliferation of night lighting. Night lighting will become more comfortable and beautiful!
