The new wind-solar complementary energy-saving and environmentally-friendly street lamps that are bundled with solar energy and wind energy equipment will be illuminated at Haifeng Road in Jimei District, Xiamen at the end of July.
Unlike ordinary solar street lamps, this energy-saving street lamp is equipped with a fan generator and a solar-powered light-receiving plate at the top of the lamp. Each lamp is equipped with more than 80 LED energy-saving lamp beads.
Generally, the wind energy is converted into electric energy by the free rotation of the fan; when the sunshine is sufficient, the solar receiving light plate absorbs a large amount of solar energy and converts the solar energy into electric energy. Both of these electrical energy are stored in a battery buried in the ground, providing street lighting at the right time. Even if there is no wind and no sunlight, the battery can be powered continuously for several nights.
This street lamp is equivalent to the illuminance of a 250-watt sodium lamp, which can guarantee two-way six-lane night illumination. It is still in the experimental stage of Jimei's investment, and will be further promoted after detailed calculation of specific values.
