Test of collective capacitors

According to the requirements of the "pre-regulation", the following items should be tested on the collective capacitor:

        (1) Measurement of insulation resistance between phases and poles.

        (2) Measurement of the capacitance value.

        (3) Interphase and pole-to-shell AC withstand voltage test.

        (4) Insulating oil breakdown voltage test.

        (5) Leakage oil inspection.

1. Measurement of phase-to-phase and pole-to-shell insulation resistance

        The purpose of this test is to check the insulation condition of the capacitor to determine whether it is damp and deteriorated. The insulation resistance between the phases is measured only for the three-phase three-phase capacitor. The measurement is performed with a 2500V megohmmeter. The measurement wiring is shown in Figure 12-6.

        Note that the capacitor should be fully discharged before and after the collective capacitor test, the time is not less than 2 min. Measurements were made using a 2500V megger. The insulation resistance value is specified by itself and compared with the calendar year and the factory value. It is recommended that the insulation resistance value of the 6~10kV capacitor is not less than 200MΩ; for the 35kV capacitor, the insulation resistance value is not less than 2000MΩ.

Second, the measurement of the capacitance value

        Since the capacitance of the collective capacitor is large, each phase of the capacitor should be measured using a voltage ammeter method or a capacitance meter.

        The requirements for the measurement results are as follows:

        (1) The capacitance value of each phase should be within the range of -5% to +10% of the rated value, and the capacitance value is not less than 96% of the factory value.

        (2) The ratio of the maximum value to the minimum value of the capacitance value measured between the terminals of each of the three phases in the three phases is not more than 1.06.

        (3) For capacitor banks with three casings for each phase, the capacitance between each two bushings shall be measured, and the value shall be within ± 5% of the factory value.

Third, phase and pole-to-shell AC withstand voltage test

        The purpose of this test is to check the insulation electrical strength of the capacitor. The phase-to-phase withstand voltage is only tested for a three-phase capacitor with six bushings.

        The test voltage is 75% of the factory test value.

Operating temperature range:

vibration motor should be used at a temperature of -10~60℃.

The figures stated in the catalog specifications are based on use at ordinary room temperature catalog specifications re based on use at ordinary room temperature (approximately20~25℃.

If a vibration motor is used outside the prescribed temperature range,the grease on the gearhead area will become unable to function normally and the motor will become unable to start.Depending on the temperature conditions ,it may be possible to deal with them by changing the grease of the motor's parts.Please feel free to consult with us about this.


Storage temperature range:

vibration motor should be stored ta a temperature of -15~65℃.

In case of storage outside this range,the grease on the gearhead area will become unable to function normally and the motor will become unable to start.


Service life:

The longevity of vibration motor is greatly affected by the load conditions , the mode of operation,the environment of use ,etc.Therefore,it is necessary to check the conditions under which the product will actually be used .The following conditions will have a negative effect on longevity.Please consult with us should any of them apply.


●Use with a load that exceeds the rated torque

●Frequent starting

●Momentary reversals of turning direction

●Impact loads

●Long-term continuous operation

●Forced turning using the output shaft

●Use in which the permitted overhang load or the permitted thrust load is exceeded

●A pulse drive ,e.g.,a short break,counter electromotive force,PWM control

●Use of a voltage that is nonstandard as regards the rated voltage

●Use outside the prescribed temperature or relative-humidity range,or in a special environment.
