Intelligent parking system design

With the progress and development of the society, the traffic congestion and even chaos caused by the increase of transportation in the city has brought great inconvenience to people's lives. The difficulties encountered by the owners in Figure 1 are mainly as follows:

Parking management To solve the concerns of car owners, build intelligent parking management platforms in public places such as residential areas and commercial buildings, so as to achieve the purpose of convenient, fast and safe parking users, and finally realize the purpose of informationization, effective and stable management.

The intelligent parking lot overall solution construction process mainly includes four components: portal control, security monitoring, user management, and background data management shown in Figure 3. Next, several of the construction schemes are briefly introduced.

1.1 Intelligent parking lot - vehicle access control system

The specific application scheme of the M6708-T series core board of Zhiyuan Electronics adopting the dual-core/quad-core Cortex-A9 processor of Freescale I.MX6 series is shown in Figure 4, which is related to the camera, display screen, voice playback, gate control, As well as parking space management, vehicle guidance, billing encryption, and human-computer interaction, the M6708-T series core board can be used for overall control. The actual application interface and product physical map can be designed with reference to FIG. 5.

1.1.1 Advantages of using M6708-T series core board

1. Strong video streaming capability

· When there is a lot of traffic, it is easy for the front car to block the rear license plate. Through the video license plate recognition, select the picture in the video stream when the license plate is not blocked to identify the license plate and get the best license plate.

· Select the appropriate license plate image to identify by video stream, avoiding the situation that the vehicle license plate is too large or too small to cause the license plate to be unrecognizable.

· In a complex environment (such as night), by analyzing the multi-frame image of the video stream, select the better-performing image to identify the best license plate and parking space information.

· The M6708-T series core board hardware is positioned to support multimedia, audio and video stream processing functions, support 1080p decoding for image processing and recognition, and processor background 3D acceleration.

· LCD display, video stream processing, audio output at the same time, do not affect each other.

· LCD multi-channel stable output, simple dual-core version supports simultaneous output of dual video sources; quad-core version supports three video sources. Realize multimedia functions such as parking space guidance, human-computer interaction, and advertising screens.

3. Mass storage and expansion support multiple storage and applications

· 4GB onboard storage makes it easy to implement a variety of charging software: entrance and exit charges, central charges, self-service payment machines, mobile payment and license plate recognition software storage and burning.

· 32GB memory card expansion, SATA2.0 hard disk expansion, large-capacity support for file backup, monitoring and storage, advertising machine audio and video recording.

4. Support 4G, Gigabit Ethernet data transmission at the same time

· 4G wireless interface, Gigabit Ethernet interface supports dual network redundancy, ensuring normal system communication during network interruption. The control unit uses the IoT-3968 expansion gateway to make greater use of network resources.

5. Support both wired and wireless data transmission

· Wired data transmission support: RS232, RS485, CANbus, Gigabit Ethernet, 100M Ethernet, DI, DO, USB-Host, SATA-2.0, etc.

· Wireless data transmission support: 4G/3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, WIFI, RFID, ZigBee, LoRa, GPS, Beidou positioning, etc. It is divided into two types of application forms: onboard module and antenna, miniPCIe interface and antenna.

1.1.2 Automatic gate control

The “free card video entrance and exit system” is the vehicle arrival entrance. After entering the video recognition range or the ground sense coil detects the signal, the trigger bayonet main and auxiliary cameras take photos. The video license plate recognition software automatically recognizes the license plate number through the video stream, and the video stream identification It is a quick analysis of all the pictures in the video stream, and intelligently selects the best picture for recognition, optimally screens the identified plurality of license plate numbers, and selects the best result as the recognition result. At the same time, the data is uploaded to the control center through wired or wireless form, the gate is automatically raised, the driver enters the car, the gate is automatically closed after entering the site, and the parking timing of the vehicle begins in the charging management system.

As shown in the system architecture diagram on the left side of Figure 6, the control unit part of the system architecture diagram can be controlled by the core board of the Freescale I.MX6 series dual-core/quad core Cortex-A9 processor. The physical gate of the gate is shown in the right figure of Figure 6.

The gate lift lever is controlled by the relay isolation output port DO of the control unit to realize the forward and reverse landing control. The high and low limit signals of the landing gear are collected by the optocoupler isolation input port DI and sent to the controller for processing.

When the gate is suddenly faulty or in an accident, automatic switching manual mode control can be adopted. The WIFI module and the Bluetooth module can be used to realize the wireless control of the staff.

PCIE-WIFI is an industrial grade Wifi module that Guangzhou Zhiyuan Electronics has introduced. As shown in Figure 7, this module adopts ZW6201 design of Zhengji Technology Co., Ltd., which can meet the needs of data acquisition or higher level user interaction in consumer electronics and industrial control applications.

The ZLG9021P0-1 is a low-cost, low-power, small-size Bluetooth 4.0 BLE module that uses a half-hole process to pull I/O out, helping customers bypass the cumbersome RF hardware design, development and production, and speed time to market. . This module facilitates the rapid bridging of electronic products and smart mobile devices and can be widely used in a variety of electronic devices with such requirements.

The automatic gate brake supports motor clutching, power-off manual quick operation, and automatic call reset. The brake lever is blocked and returns. Wire remote control is optional; optional low temperature automatic heating circuit.

1.1.3 Read Card Issuance Control

Can be divided into contact and non-contact two types of programs.

ZLG600 series card reader module solution can be used. ZLG600A series RFID read/write card module is a 13.56MHz read/write card module developed based on Fudan Micro Platform. This series complies with ISO14443 and ISO7816 standards and supports the operation of Mifare cards, CPU cards and contact SAM cards. The user does not need to know the underlying registers, and several simple serial commands can implement the RFID read/write card function. The contact/contactless IC card technology can be easily and quickly integrated into the product.

For the non-contact card reader card issuing solution, the contactless card reading is realized by the Bluetooth wireless module carried in the control unit within the range of 2m~50m from the vehicle gate. The gate machine integrates the card issuing machine device, which can realize the functions of upgrading, recharging, inquiring and issuing parking cards.

1.1.4 Parking space detection control

How to solve urban vehicle traffic and vehicle parking is two important issues to solve urban traffic problems, expand and explore urban parking resources, solve parking problems, and establish an intelligent traffic management system that combines static parking with dynamic traffic. Inevitable trend, at present, all provinces and cities are also accelerating the intelligent transformation of roadside parking and commercial parking lots, realizing intelligent management of parking spaces, and effectively improving the efficiency of parking space management.

Parking lot parking detection control can also be realized by wired and wireless solutions.

The vehicle position is detected by the parking space geomagnetic sensor. Information can be controlled by the RS485 or CANbus bus access control unit for central control.

There is an indicator light at the intersection of the parking space indicating the current vehicle position and traffic status.

In the parking space intelligent management system, geomagnetic parking space detectors and intelligent parking spaces are very difficult to route in terms of information transmission. Wireless transmission is the dominant solution. Even many wired ultrasonic parking detectors are gradually adopting wireless replacement. To achieve system normalization, and in terms of wireless transmission, LoRa solution has more advantages in this field:

· Wireless communication, effectively solve the problems of construction and wiring of outdoor parking lot, inconvenient installation and maintenance, etc. It has the advantages of simple installation and maintenance, construction free wiring, saving construction cost and reducing construction period;

· LoRa wireless spread spectrum technology with -148dBm receiving sensitivity, communication distance can reach 8km, greatly reducing the number of gateways and construction costs;

· LoRa uses ISM band wireless communication technology. In practical applications, the geomagnetic/parking lock installation method and vehicle chassis will have a strong interference effect on wireless communication, combining digital spread spectrum, digital signal processing and forward error correction coding. Effectively ensure wireless communication is stable and reliable and anti-interference ability.

· Ultra-low power design, battery life can last up to 3 to 5 years.

The control unit can use the Zhiyuan electronic LoRa module as the central host to communicate with the slaves placed in each parking space in real time.

1.1.5 License Plate Detection and Identification

The license plate detection and identification can be selected by IP-Camera, and the control unit provides communication with the network port to realize license plate information recognition.

The control unit controls the spotlight fill light through the relay isolation DO port to ensure the identification of the license plate in a harsh environment.

1.1.6 Display Information Control

The parking lot has more information to display the demand, and the split screen control display scheme can be adopted.

LED dot matrix screen can be used at the parking lot gate, as shown in Figure 16 using RS485 interface. Realize the vehicle entering the welcome message and the license information feedback display.

HDMI display, can play 1080P video, display free parking space, occupied car number, available parking space and corresponding guiding information in the parking lot vertical or hanging screen. Ads can also be played.

The card reader can use the LVDS display to operate the man-machine interface and support the USB touch screen. Display card information, vehicle owner information, etc., fee record deduction information, etc.

The control unit provides an I2S interface and a basic voice processing chip, and is optionally equipped with a power amplifier scheme and a recording and playback scheme. Realize voice prompts, intercom, broadcast billing notifications, etc.

1.1.7 Parking guidance control

Ultrasonic, infrared, ground, proximity coil and other sensors can be used to collect the digital input DI from the control unit through the control unit to collect the digital input DI to the controller, so that the vehicle at the gate can pass the identification detection.

The number of free parking spaces in the parking lot, free parking spaces, fixed parking spaces, free parking spaces, etc. can be collected by the geomagnetic sensors of each parking space and then communicated with the RS485 isolation port of the control unit via the RS485 bus. It is displayed by the control unit in the form of a graphical interface on the HDMI guide screen in the parking lot and updated in real time.

The “Video Parking Guidance System” adopts image processing technology. In the design, a video parking space detection terminal and a parking space status indicator are combined into one for front-end acquisition and detection equipment; two parking spaces are grouped and share a regional video. The controller; the regional video controller identifies the collected parking space information and the vehicle information, and the real-time driving parking space indicator is switched to the corresponding color, and the license plate photo and the parking space information are uploaded to the application server through the network switch, and the electronic map is updated and saved. . Each parking lot is provided with a data server to manage the license plate image of the parking lot; a guide screen is provided at the passage to indicate the number of free parking spaces for the driver to find an empty parking space.

1.2 Intelligent parking lot - safety control system

1.2.1 Safety testing

The control unit provides the MIPI-CSI camera interface, and the analog interface of the surveillance camera communicates well with the remote electronic camera adapter board. The control unit supports 32G memory card expansion, and the quad-core version of the core board controller supports SATA-2 hard disk expansion. It can realize information such as large-capacity storage monitoring video.

Camera-Demo is an accessory board developed by Guangzhou Zhiyuan Electronics. The board adopts ADV7180 analog to digital decoding scheme, which can collect four analog camera signals in time and convert them into digital signals, which are connected to the CPU through CSI interface for processing. 1.2.2 Alarm System

The central control unit provides a relay-isolated DO interface that triggers the activation of an alarm system such as an alarm indicator or an alarm when the CPU receives a dangerous message. In addition, the control unit provides the recording and playback function of the I2S interface to realize the voice alarm prompt, which can remind the habitual personnel in the event of an accident.

In the event of a sudden safety accident in the parking lot, after collecting the dangerous information, the control unit quickly backs up the real-time processed information to the storage via USB, SD, SATA, etc., or networked backup. The standard Longshang U9501P 4G wireless module will report the dangerous information to the parking lot management office for the first time.

1.2.3 Communication Management

The control unit using the M6708-T core board can realize wired communication: communication such as network, RS232, RS485, CANbus, DI/DO, etc. The Zhiyuan Electronics IoT-3968 can be configured as its gateway device.

ZLG Zhiyuan Electronics has launched the intelligent wireless gateway IoT-3968L for the industrial Internet field, with ARM9 as the core, two-way MiniPCIE interface design, and a variety of optional wireless interface modules (using MiniPCIE interface design, including Wi-Fi, ZigBee, LoRa, GPRS, 2G/3G/4G, etc.), which is convenient for customers to quickly build smart IoT gateway products suitable for their own industry.

Support FastZigBee, ZNET, JenNet-IP, ZigBee-PRO, RF4CE and other protocols, can be quickly applied to industrial control, industrial data acquisition, agricultural control, mining personnel positioning, smart home, intelligent remote control and other occasions.

PCIE-SIM800G is an industrial grade GPRS module introduced by Guangzhou Zhiyuan Electronics Co., Ltd. The module is designed by SIMCom SIM800G. The module is small in size and can meet the applications of IoT data acquisition or consumer electronics and industrial control.

1.2.4 System Maintenance

The control system supports wired or wireless system upgrades, remote monitoring, and more to ensure the maintainability of software facilities.

Provide a complete UPS power supply solution, and realize the emergency plan for maintaining the system, such as power failure detection and 15s power failure, while occupying a very low PCB area.

1.3 Intelligent Parking Lot - User Management System

1.3.1 User Management

User management system software can realize information storage, encryption, and secure management of user information. The management system has made user classification and permission query to realize user information classification.

The parking lot intelligent management system node (node ​​includes: wireless parking geomagnetic, wireless ultrasonic sensor, wireless parking lock) wireless transmission part uses LoRa wireless module ZM470SX-M / ZM433SX-M. 1.3.2 Charge and Billing

The system supports the paper ticket mode through the printer to reduce the loss of lost card: the temporary parking user presses the button at the entrance, the system automatically prints the ticket, and the parking person can hold the paper ticket for parking positioning, reverse inquiry and payment, and support automatic recycling at the exit. . 1.4 Intelligent parking lot - background data management system

1.4.1 Data Center Host
