The protocol of the PPI port of the PPI expansion module is the same as the factory default setting of the S7-200 PLC. Both are PPI slave mode (point-to-point interface protocol).
Can connect Siemens smart700/1000 touch screen, can also connect Kunlun pass state, Bu Ke, Wei Lun and many other domestic brands touch screen, you can also connect Siemens USB-PPI, RS232-PPI programming cable for online programming (upload / download) or real-time monitoring .
The baud rate of PPI port of PPI expansion module is 187.5K, 19200, 9600.
Note: This setting is done by shorting the terminals at the bottom of the module. After the baud rate is set, it needs to be re-powered, and the power-on self-check will not enter the working state after 9 seconds.
(1), if not shorted (ie without any settings) The baud rate is 187.5K.
(2) The second terminal in the lower left row and the third terminal in the lower left row are short-circuited with wires, and the baud rate is 9600.
(3) Connect the second terminal in the lower left row and the fourth terminal in the lower left row with the wire and the baud rate is 19200.
The PPI expansion module requires an external 24V power supply: the 2nd terminal on the right of the upper row is connected with 24V positive, and the 3rd terminal on the right of the upper row is connected with 24V ground.
