Abrasion Resistance - In circuit board engineering, often refers to the wear resistance of solder mask. The test method is to use a soft grinding wheel with 1kg weight to rotate the brush 50 times on the IPC-B-25 model board that has completed the green paint. The comb circuit area must not be worn to see copper, which is the abrasion resistance of the green paint. Some specifications also require the wear resistance of the gold finger. Abrasive refers to abrasives, such as pumice.
