Analysis of the prospect of wind energy development

According to CCTV, this year, China will begin construction of 5 million kilowatts of Jiuquan in Gansu Province, 2 million kilowatts of Hami in Xinjiang, 2 million kilowatts of Kailu in Inner Mongolia, and 1.5 million kilowatts of Tongyu in Jilin; and a new 1 million kilowatt offshore wind power project in Jiangsu Province. We will promote the development of offshore wind power in Hebei, Shandong, Zhejiang, and Fujian, and step up construction of the second phase of Shanghai Donghai Bridge offshore wind power project.

At present, the development of wind power in China has gradually developed from land-based wind power to sea-land wind power. In February last year, the National Energy Administration and the State Oceanic Administration jointly issued the Interim Measures for the Management of Offshore Wind Power Development and Construction to regulate offshore wind power construction.

Although the rumored new energy industry development plan has not yet been published, the trend of increasing new energy construction during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period has become clear. From 2010 to 2020 in all regions, the emerging energy industry development plan will drive a total of 5 trillion yuan in investment, including investment in the development of new energy sources, and indirect investments in traditional industries such as steel and cement.

Recently, we have the most attention paid to the news of the earthquake in Japan. From the tragedy of nuclear power leakage, many people began to seek new ways of energy development. The author believes that wind power is more popular than electric energy as a renewable secondary energy source. According to some statistics, wind energy resources are of high quality, wind power has prominent advantages, and wind power is rapidly developed in a worldwide scale. Solar energy reaching 2% of the earth can be converted into wind energy. From this point of view, the total amount of wind energy is larger than that of anybody. Scientists once calculated that only 1% of the surface wind power can meet the global demand for generating energy. This great potential has made wind power increasingly attract the attention of various industries.

Although from the perspective of the current stage, China's wind power generation is still in a preliminary stage, but with the "12th Five-Year Plan" direction, many problems in the wind energy industry also need to be resolved. It is understood that China's domestic smart grid construction is still in its infancy, and it will seriously affect the development of the industry. Some of the wind farms that have already achieved grid access have limited power generation. Some wind farms lose as much as 30%. According to statistics, in 2009, 10% of wind power generated was lost. In addition, some newly completed wind farms have been postponed to the grid.

Despite many problems, due to the huge potential of the wind energy industry and our country's attention and construction of new energy industries, these bottlenecks are being effectively solved. I believe that in the future development of the wind energy industry, we will certainly be able to get better and better.
