Zinc Oxide Arrester Introduction

I. Overview

The MOA-30kV zinc oxide arrester detector is designed to detect internal defects in the MOA valve with gapless zinc oxide surge arresters for power systems up to 10kV and below. It measures the DC reference voltage (U1mA) of MOA and the leakage current at 0.75U1mA. . The instrument integrates DC high-voltage power supply, measurement and control systems into one unit. All components are concentrated in a single chassis. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, and is an indispensable equipment for field testing of power systems and zinc oxide arrester production plants.

Third, the use of methods

1. Open the cover of the instrument box and firmly ground the instrument housing.

2. Insert one end of the lightning arrester into the high voltage bushing (H end) of the instrument and clamp the other end with a clamp. Or use a special insulated wire to pull the external test sample from the high pressure side.

3, close the power switch, the instrument internal self-test, the alarm light, discharge light, click the test button, two header indication value is zero ± 1 word.

4, press the reset button, the alarm light off, the instrument enters the test state, can be tested.

5. Press and hold the test button for about 1 second to release. The instrument automatically completes all MOA test items.

6. Precautions (1) If the alarm light is on when the test button is pressed, it indicates that there is a defect in the MOA's internal contact, or the external wiring is not solid. After the discharge lamp is on, check whether the external wiring is faulty, or change the test product. Press the reset button again for the next test.

(2) If the warning light is off, it indicates that the internal contact of the MOA is good and there is no problem with the wiring. The instrument will automatically enter the state of measuring U1mA and Id, and the test result will be displayed on the meter head. After the discharge lamp is on, the test is completed. Remove the test wiring or replace the test sample for the next test.
