SAN JOSE, Calif.--February 25, 2014 - S2C Inc., the industry's leading provider of SoC/ASIC rapid prototyping solutions, today announced the addition of the latest QuadE V7 to its V7 TAI Logic Module family of FPGA-based prototyping platforms. This product is an enhanced version of the Quad V7 product currently using four Xilinx's Virtex®-7 2000T FPGAs. The latest QuadE V7 meets the needs of designers using high-capacity or high-performance DDR3 memory with four DDR3 SODIMM slots, each supporting 8GB of DDR3 memory and testing speeds of up to 1600Mbps (single Rank) and 1200Mbps (Double Rank).
In addition, the new remote management capabilities greatly enhance the user experience, allowing users to remotely perform on-board SD card read/write, FPGA design re-download, remote reset, and remote I/O boot on the QuadE V7 platform via Ethernet. Order and other operations. With these new capabilities, companies will be able to build a common FPGA prototyping platform in different locations, for different projects and different design teams, with a single central team working on the company's network for all deployed QuadE V7 prototype systems. Monitor the status of each platform, perform design circuit version control, update design circuit, shut down and restart.
The QuadE V7 TAI Logic Module is now accepting customer orders.
"FPGA-based prototyping technology has been used for many purposes at our customer site, such as algorithm development, software development and compatibility testing," said S2C CEO Toshio Nakama. “Therefore, the ability to remotely monitor and manage many FPGA prototyping systems deployed in different locations and teams has become a challenge for our customers. The new QuadE V7 is the result of our collaboration with key customers, which extends remote management. Features and help designers move forward toward "cloud" prototyping."
