On the 22nd, at the seminar on accounting service and innovation in the new era held in the Jiangbei New District, the participating experts believed that the basic fiscal and taxation work of over 80% will be replaced by robots in the future, and personnel training in the accounting profession will need to be adjusted.
Experts at the meeting introduced that the development of accounting has entered a new era, and the emergence of information technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing has created new opportunities and challenges for accounting. At present, many companies have enabled invoice verification robots. Auto tax-paying robots and so on, the basic financial and taxation work that will exceed 80% in the future can all be accomplished through financial robots.
Professor Chen Zhibin, dean of the Department of Finance and Accounting at Southeast University, introduced that for the development of accounting in the new era, changes in the way of obtaining accounting information requires that students not only possess financial accounting knowledge, but also require them to learn financial management, information technology and other aspects. Knowledge, all kinds of colleges and universities from the cultivation of accounting accounting to training management, market service accounting reform.
This change has brought new requirements to the cultivation of accounting personnel in colleges and universities. Chen Zhibin said that students should also learn relevant knowledge such as economic management and business operations in order to better integrate financial services. "In addition, we should also learn about information technology, computers, and artificial intelligence, and participate in the management, investment, and financing of the company."
At the meeting on that day, the Accounting Service Research and Development Center was established. The Center will study how accounting can adapt to the current economic development and how it can contribute to local economic development.
