Since the beginning of this year, Xuchang Coal Mine has strengthened electricity consumption management and reduced electricity expenses by reducing equipment occupancy, intensive production and technological innovation. The "big heads" of power consumption are all downhole. In September this year, in response to the actual production stoppage of the -400 mining area, the mine accelerated the withdrawal speed of electromechanical equipment, minimized the production front, and reduced the occupation of electromechanical equipment. Up to now, the mine-400 mining area has withdrawn 4,100 meters of cables, 41 switches, 15 pumps, and 5 belt conveyors, reducing electricity expenses by more than 500,000 yuan. At the same time, the mine used electricity management as a main indicator for the assessment of the grassroots district team. 288 sets of time-measured electricity meters were installed underground, and the electricity consumption was linked to the salary income of the district team. Effectively stimulated the enthusiasm of all members to save electricity. In the first 10 months, a total of 14 fleets across the mine achieved electricity savings.
Intensive production has further expanded the power saving space. In the past, the Xuchang coal mine implemented the rotation system, and the employees independently chose the rest time, and the underground kept the state of non-stop production. However, the operation mode of this elongated front also brings about an increase in power consumption. It is estimated that the power consumption of the mine during normal production is 200,000 kWh/day. To this end, starting from the beginning of this year, the mine has started a concentrated rest mode, which is a fixed number of days per month for employees to concentrate on rest days. In the meantime, it is not produced underground, leaving only drainage and ventilation equipment to work. In this way, the power consumption during the concentrated rest period is only 128,000 kWh/day. According to the monthly concentrated five-day calculation, it can save 360,000 kWh per month and save electricity costs by 220,000 yuan. In the first 10 months of this year, the mine has saved 2.2 million yuan in electricity costs due to concentrated off-duty. In addition, the mine also adopted a time-sharing electricity management system, the peak section is used to repair equipment, the valley section is full of horsepower for production, and the electricity tariff is used to continuously reduce electricity bills.
Science and technology innovation saves half the effort. The mine has been upgraded by equipment energy-saving technology, and has eliminated 25 high-energy-consuming electromechanical equipments. Frequency control technology, reactive power compensation technology, equipment intelligent control, and soft start technology are widely used in the field. The electromechanical team rebuilt the overhead passenger's manual opening and automatic stop device, saving an average of 460 kWh per day and saving 160,000 yuan in electricity annually. The charging and mining team applied the reactive power compensation technology to the paste filling high-voltage line, so that the power supply efficiency was increased from 82% to 95%, and the annual electricity cost was 150,000 yuan. Since the beginning of this year, the mine has successfully applied 26 power-saving technology transformations, saving 640,000 kWh and reducing electricity costs by more than 400,000 yuan.
