1. Introduction

The intelligent trash can is a new type of smart home daily necessities based on automatic control technology and Internet of Things technology, which uses micro-computer control chips, new sensor detection devices and mechanical transmission devices to transform traditional trash cans. With the development of the Internet of Things technology, various intelligent home products have appeared in large numbers in response to market demand. Most of these smart trash cans are based on the infrared sensor detection device to detect the human body's pyroelectric infrared signal released by the close personnel, and are processed by the microcomputer control chip built in the trash can to control the mechanical traditional device to realize the non-contact trash can. Can only open and close functions. However, due to the limited sensing distance of today's infrared x pyroelectric sensors, the detection distance of most trash cans is less than 1 m. Such a control distance cannot effectively isolate the harmful pathogens in the trash can.

This design is aimed at the shortage of the detection distance of smart trash cans. The STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer is used as the system control core. The non-specific speech recognition chip LD3320 produced by ICRoute and the non-specific speech recognition algorithm are used to identify the control voice commands to realize the trash can. Intelligent voice recognition control, complete the function of long-distance non-contact intelligent opening and closing and system movement. At the same time, the ultrasonic ranging algorithm is used to realize the intelligent reminder of the internal capacity of the trash can.

2, system composition

The design is mainly composed of data acquisition part, mechanical drive part, main control chip STC89C52, lighting system and working status display. The system structure is shown in Figure 1.

The sound signal is collected by the microphone, filtered and amplified, and then sent to the LD3320 non-specific speech recognition module for speech recognition processing, and the processing result is sent to the main control chip STC89C52 through the serial port [4]. The main control chip analyzes the processing result data received from the LD3320 speech recognition chip, and issues corresponding operation instructions to the motor of the mechanical driving part to complete the corresponding forward, backward, left turn, right turn, open cover, closed cover and the like. It can achieve the function of voice recognition control on the trash can outside the distance of 1m [5]. At the same time, the depth of the trash can is measured by the US-100 ultrasonic ranging module. The main control chip STC89C52 uses the interrupt timing principle to monitor the content of the trash can, and reacts the data to the working status display in real time. The intelligent management of the trash can capacity reminds the user to replace the cleaning trash can in time. The use of light sensors to detect the ambient brightness enables the trash can to be illuminated at night or in low-light environments for user convenience.

3, hardware design composition

3.1, LD3320 non-specific speech recognition module

The LD3320 is a speech recognition/sound control chip based on non-specific human speech recognition (SI-ASR) technology. It integrates a series of external circuits related to its functions, including ADC, DAC, microphone clip, sound output interface, etc., making LD3320 It can perform functions such as linear speech recognition/sound control/human-machine dialogue without any external auxiliary flash and RAM chips. And the LD3320 is working without any prior training and recording, and the speech recognition rate is 95% accurate. It is an excellent non-specific speech recognition chip.

In order to make the LD3320 chip work normally and realize the communication with the upper MCU, it is necessary to design the peripheral circuit for the LD3320 chip. The circuit design is shown in Figure 2. The red LED is used to indicate the working state of the LD3320 chip. When the LD3320 is working normally, the red LED will flash.

3.2, motor drive

This design needs to use the motor to realize the automatic opening and closing of the closed lid of the trash can and the movement of the whole design in all directions. In order to enable the STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer as the control core to better control each moving motor, it is necessary to design the relevant motor drive. Circuit, this design uses L289NH bridge driver chip as the core to design the motor drive circuit.
